Section Head, Centralized Trade Operations
Location: Region – Yangon, Township – Kyauttada

Job Descriptions:
- Review and implement objectives, policies and procedures manual and user manuals for Trade Finance Operations
- Ensure that all transaction processing is in compliance with regulatory and Bank’s policies, procedures and standards with prompt intervention to resolve problems/ concern areas
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal/external customers and relevant stakeholders necessary for smooth functioning of the Trade Finance Operations
- Ensure the provision of adequate and efficient processing services pertaining to customers, resolving their queries/ problems and thereby help them serve their respective external customers in a more efficient manner
- Develop/ finalize Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal departments/ units to achieve improvements in turnaround time (TAT) with respect to processing of transactions for the respective departments/ sections/ units
- Prepare regular reports and analysis for senior management for effective monitoring and control
- Display good work ethics and attitude to foster a high-performance culture and teamwork.
- Responsible for leading multiple teams, or teams with significant impact on achievement of team, KPIs, with some influence on defining department business strategies
- Negotiate and convince others outside the Bank with similar objectives and perspectives to accept complete plans and proposals
- Required to modify and occasionally improve, existing methods and approaches within own scope, but occasionally affects other areas
- Manage and lead teams through expertise in most/all areas within a function
- Execute other duties and projects as are reasonably required of your job, in order to maintain, promote, develop and expand the bank and its interests
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor/Master of Business Management, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics and/or industry specific qualifications
- Knowledge of trade finance from end to end with strong risk awareness
- Minimum of (3) years of related Trade management experience within a commercial bank with progressive management experience
- Good written and verbal communication skills, and computer literate
- Good interpersonal and people management skills
- Meticulous with a high degree of integrity, self-motivated, resilient and able to cope with pressure
- Able to work under pressure and capable to solve problems while maintaining high level of professionalism
- Trade related trainings will be a plus, such as (CDCS/CITF/CSDG)
- Good command of English (Writing + Speaking)
