Section Head, Business Development

Location: Region – Yangon, Township – Kyauttada

Employment Type – Full Time

Job Descriptions:

  • Deliver customer base growth, achieve growth targets
  • Identify potential opportunities/developments in the market
  • Support senior management to deliver a high-quality business development culture
  • Direct sales activities in a relatively manner and ensure consistency in client treatment and alignment to processes as defined by Head of Department or Management.
  • Manage key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, developing and maintaining strong working relationships
  • Plan and oversee the new marketing initiatives
  • Coordinates and schedules presentations and demonstrations to existing and new customer contacts for Business Banking products and services.
  • Look out proactively for prospects, source for potential customers through business referrals, carry out regular marketing visits for existing clients and prospects to understand their business and needs
  • Developing quotes/ business proposal for clients and developing the new products or improving the existing products and service of the banks
  • Responsible for leading multiple teams, or teams with significant impact on achievement of team, KPIs, with some influence on defining department business strategies
  • Negotiate and convince others outside the Bank with similar objectives and perspectives to accept complete plans and proposals
  • Required to modify and occasionally improve, existing methods and approaches within own scope, but occasionally affects other areas
  • Manage and lead teams through expertise in most/all areas within a function
  • Execute other duties and projects as are reasonably required of your job, in order to maintain, promote, develop and expand the bank and its interests

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor/Master of Business Management, Commerce, Finance, Economics and/or industry specific qualifications
  • Knowledge of banking products from end to end with strong risk awareness
  • Minimum of (3) years of related experience within a commercial bank with progressive management experience
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, and computer literate
  • Good interpersonal and people management skills
  • Meticulous with a high degree of integrity, self-motivated, resilient and able to cope with pressure
  • Able to work under pressure and capable to solve problems while maintaining high level of professionalism
  • Good command of English (Writing + Speaking)
