Procurement Manager

Job Descriptions:

  • Sourcing the market price & product quality from local and oversea supplier depend on product .
  • Manage costs and margins in every link in the process and advise senior executives on vertical integration strategies and prepare the budget for the cost and will be responsible to deliver within the budget amount .
  • Monitoring supply markets and trends (e.g., material price increases, shortages, changes in suppliers) and interpreting the impact of these trends on company strategies.
  • Develop Strong Relationships with other functional groups and supporting organization’s need for a diverse with competitive supply base.
  • Provided to administrative functions, banking operational function (new branch opening and new product launch planning) provided banking related product.
  • Handling and tracking expenditure (Capital expenditure & Operation expenditure) all the way through reporting and spend tracking.
  • Polish the procurement guidelines and standard operation procedure (SOP) and the policy according to the management requirements and organization need.
  • Conduct supplier analysis based on price/quality positioning and review of specification or statement of work and periodic review of requisitions can allow greater leveraging of requirements.
  • Maintain internal records and databases for vendors, prices, purchase history, invoicing etc . Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Negotiate the pricing and lead the unit and implement procurement activities to support tendering, contracts management, purchase order , spend analytics and supplier performance management .
  • Develop excellent and effective collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and external providers and other agencies to ensure strategic and operational needs are fully understood and incorporated.
  • Facilitate development of relationship with existing and potential suppliers and Research potential vendors for all business requirements.
  • Periodic report to head of general administration up to date information including the status procurement planning /sourcing related strategic and compliance to regulatory procurement requirements.
  • Ensure all aspects of regulatory compliance are adhered to regarding the respective Procurement Policies and external requirements procedures and implement strategies
  • Drive continuous improvement, best value and quality improvements within the team and departments in challenging existing practices and actively seek ways to achieve better outcomes, contributing to ensure key performance
  • Lead and motivate staff and ensure that they receive appropriate support, training, and development to achieve their potential.
  • Undertake other duties not specifically stated which from time to time are necessary without altering the nature or level of responsibility.

Job Requirements:

  • Any Degree and Diploma or certificate in supply chain management
  • At least 5 years of experience in Procurement Field or any related management experience and minimum 2 years’ experience in banking administrative field .
  • Possess Up-to-date knowledge with industry purchase trends, price benchmarking, and business tools / technologies.
  • Experience of implementing best practice contract and supplier management
  • Great networking and liaison skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and targets.
  • Strong working knowledge of procurement processes
  • High level of Understanding for both Services & Markets.
  • Strong Time Management and Organizational skills
  • Well-developed and sound decision and negotiation Skills.
