Assistant System Support

Location: Region – Yangon, Township – Kyauttada

Employment Type – Full Time

Job Descriptions:

  • Assist senior management in executing innovative banking products, aiming to achieve the business goals and improve customer experience.
  • Analyze and correct defects/issues regarding IT reporting systems
  • Develop new software solutions or modify existing program code to deliver the desired reports
  • Assist users with questions or problems
  • Initiate the necessary change control steps to implement changes/new modules into production environment
  • Troubleshoot poorly performing process / tune (if warranted), and support the training needs of end users
  • Analyse and correct issues identified by internal auditors and/or external examiners
  • Collaborate with User Team, Branches, Departments for requirements gathering and business needs confirmation to ensure upgrade project successful
  • Mitigate the technical risks and report to Section Head and Head of IT in timely manner
  • Participate technically any integration between IT systems and reconciliation and proper handling for EOD, EOY processes
  • Works with some supervision and guidance to set individual plans to deliver results according to function/ organization direction
  • Explain facts, policies, processes related to one’s own job area to others within the organization
  • Check and correct problems that are not obvious or defined
  • Apply broad knowledge of a single professional discipline achieved through advanced theoretical education
  • Execute other duties and projects as are reasonably required of your job, in order to maintain, promote, develop and expand the bank and its interests

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Information Technology or any related field
  • Minimum of (2) years experiences in information technology in the Banking Industry
  • Experience in the most current technologies and products used in the banking industry.
  • Experience in delivering major business or technology programs, reporting and Integration experiences with Oracle SQL, MYSQL, SQL
  • Good knowledge of account flow of Banking, software development methodologies, tools, standards and procedures for high quality IT Support
  • Professional attitude and appearance, good communication and public relation, Customer service mindset and attitude
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, coupled with organizational skills.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Good command of English (Writing + Speaking)
