The Junior Assistant provides essential administrative, operational, and documentation support to the Corporate Banking sales team. The role ensures efficient workflow by preparing client documentation, coordinating with internal departments, maintaining customer records, and supporting Relationship Managers (RMs) in day-to-day activities. The position contributes to high-quality service delivery, compliance, and smooth execution of corporate banking transactions.
Key responsibilities
Administrative & Documentation Support
Prepare and organize all required customer documents and internal forms for loan, trade, and account-related services.
Maintain up-to-date KYC files, customer master data, and relationship documentation.
Ensure all documents comply with the bank’s policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Assist in filing, scanning, and securing confidential records.
Support to Relationship Managers
Assist RMs by preparing credit-related checklists, supporting documents, and meeting arrangements.
Follow up with clients for missing documents or pending information.
Coordinate with Loan, Marketing, Operations, Legal, Risk & IT departments as required.
Support RM team in client onboarding and account opening preparation.
Sales & Business Support
Prepare sales reports, pipeline updates, and daily/weekly activity trackers.
Monitor loan, deposit, and trade transaction statuses and notify RMs of required follow-ups.
Assist with cross-selling efforts by preparing product presentations or basic financial summaries.
Track corporate client inquiries and ensure timely response from relevant teams.
Operations Coordination
Submit service requests and ensure smooth processing with back-office units.
Support day-to-day administrative tasks such as meeting schedules, call logs, and event coordination.
Compliance & Risk Support
Ensure all customer documentation meets internal controls, AML/KYC standards, and audit requirements.
Maintain strict confidentiality of customer and bank information.
Alert supervisors to any discrepancies, incomplete documents, or potential compliance issues.
Job Requirements
Diploma in business administration, Finance, Economics, or related field
0–2 years of experience in banking, administration, or sales support (fresh graduates welcome)
Good command of English and Burmese (written & spoken)
